WORD ON THE STREET: Viking RCMP report, TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
On May 18, police received a complaint of a theft from an oilfield lease site. The investigation into this matter is continuing.

On May 19, police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the site of a local grain elevator in Viking.
A grain truck struck
the building and also caused damage to the CN tracks. Police are continuing to follow up on this incident.

On May 20, police were advised of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of 51st Street and 52nd Avenue in Viking.
A southbound vehicle failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound vehicle which resulted in a collision, causing damage to the vehicles.
