WORD ON THE STREET; VIKING RCMP REPORT

   On Sept. 28 police received a complaint of two suspicious persons at a rural residence near Viking.

    The complainant advised the pair had approached the residence and requested permission to walk around the house and property as a relative used to own the land. The property owner asked them to leave and

they did. A patrol was made in the area however they were unable to locate the individuals.

    On Sept. 30 police received a complaint of a group of individuals disturbing the peace and possibly causing damage to property in Viking.

    When police contacted the complainant, they were advised the group had already dispersed.

    Police attended the scene and did not find any signs of damage in the area.
