Viking woman wins third place at American Quarter Horse Open World Show

Leisurely Drive, owned by Viking’s Debbie Hill, captured third place at the 2013 American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Open World Championship Show earlier this month. Leisurely Drive captured third place in senior pleasure driving at the 2013 American Quarter Horse Association Open World Championship Show on Thursday, November 21 in Oklahoma City.

The third place horse is owned by Debbie Hill of Viking, Alberta, and was shown by
Brian Holmes of Purcell, Oklahoma.

American Quarter Horse Leisurely Drive is a 2007 bay gelding. Leisurely Drive, sired by Too Sleepy To Zip and out of Esprit De Guerre, was bred by Trina McCarroll of Blanchard, Oklahoma.

In the senior pleasure driving class, 17 entries competed for world champion honours and a purse of $9,284.21. Third place received a prize package that included a custom-designed bronze trophy, specially designed logo-ed jacket, courtesy of Cripple Creek Outerwear, Professional’s Choice Sports Medicine Boots and a medallion.
