Word on the Street

On Wednesday, March 14, police responded to a traffic incident west of Viking.  

    An eastbound semi tractor unit had a trailer tire blow causing debris to hit two oncoming vehicles, which caused damage to them.  A collision report was completed and all vehicles were allowed to carry on their way.

WORD  ON THE STREET – March 5 to 11

On March 5, police attended a two vehicle collision at the intersection of 55 Ave. and Highway 36. 

A semi tractor unit was northbound on Highway 36 when an eastbound pickup pulled out onto the highway in it’s path.  The semi was unable to avoid the pickup, striking it on the front passenger side.    

WORD ON THE STREET

On Feb. 2 police were called to a traffic complaint on Highway 14.

     A cattle liner was turning off of the range road and slipped into the ditch.  Traffic was becoming backed up due to both lanes of traffic being blocked. 

    Members attended the scene and the cattle liner had managed to get out of the ditch prior to police arrival.
