On Feb. 11, police received a complaint of a possible case of identity fraud where an unknown subject was sending threatening text messages and claiming to be the complainant.

On Feb. 11, police received a complaint of a possible case of identity fraud where an unknown subject was sending threatening text messages and claiming to be the complainant.
Viking RCMP are requesting the assistance of the public in locating the driver of vehicle involved in a hit and run collision which occurred between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 30, 2013 at the intersection of Highway 36 and 26 south of Viking.
Viking Town Council addressed a number of agenda items including the consideration of dropping two council positions from six to four plus the mayor’s position.
On Jan. 28, police were called to a residence as a family dispute was taking place between a parent and a child. Both parties were spoken to and the issue was resolved without further police involvement required.
