Decline in 4-H membership occuring
For many 4-H members this time of year is always exciting as they prepare for the coming achievement days where members show off the skills they have learned over the past year, but for some it is a time of uncertainty.
Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report
On May 27, police received a report of a single vehicle collision on Highway 14 east of Viking.
The complainant advised a vehicle had struck a deer causing the airbags to deploy, injuring a passenger in the vehicle who had been travelling with his feet on the dash. The passenger was transported to the Wainwright Health Center where he was treated for his injuries.
