The 38th annual Cloverlodge Stampede took place in Viking at the rodeo grounds on June 24 and 25.
The first day of the stampede started off with some rain, but by Sunday a beautiful, cloudless day welcomed visitors.
With the arrival of summer, activities in the Viking area are taking shape.
Aside from the regular summer activities such as golf and swimming, there are plans for any number
of community events such as a planned pancake breakfast at the Viking Museum on August 12 and the arrival of the Pink Yonder later that month.
