WORD ON THE STREET: RCMP report

On Oct. 23  police provided assistance to Viking Health Centre with the review of a patient who has expressed interest in suicide.

Members and staff of the Viking Health Center spoke with the patient who advised that there is currently family issues which is causing the instability.

Viking Town Council wants your opinion on the train whistles and what, if anything, council should do about them.

    At the regular meeting of Town Council on Monday, Oct. 15, council voted to place a survey slip in with the November water bills seeking public opinion on whether council should work towards creating silent crossings at Viking.

Word on the Street: RCMP report

On October 15th police received complaints of a suspicious male, who appeared to be confused.     
      The 41 year old male was located and was noted to not be wearing any shoes.
     He was transported to Viking Health Center for an assessment and later transported to Alberta Hospital Ponoka for further assessment.
