Word on the street: Viking RCMP report
On Jan. 28, police were called to a residence as a family dispute was taking place between a parent and a child. Both parties were spoken to and the issue was resolved without further police involvement required.

On January 21st, police attended the scene of a break and enter at a local business in Viking. The investigation into this crime is ongoing.

Area police investigate break-ins
The east central area in and around Viking has recently been hit with a number of break-ins which police say may be connected.
Early this past week police in the area were called to three separate break-in complaints.
