Starke announces bid for party leadership

Dr. Richard Starke, MLA for Vermilion-Lloydminster announced on Thursday, Sept. 28 that he intends to seek the leadership of the provincial Progressive Conservative Party.

“It started the day after the last election,” Starke says. “I was asked if I would run then.”

He said at some point, he realized he had to make that decision.

“I do have the experience, and I am extremely concerned about the future.
