Main Street Viking took on a whole new look over the weekend. The sky-scraping pines surrounding the Fisher home next to the Cold Beer Store were removed by Wilkinson’s Tilt Bed and Hauling on Sunday when the street was free of traffic. The roots of the huge trees were starting to create problems, forcing their removal. Fencing and landscaping plans for the main street home are underway.
The Wild Rose Co-op Battle River Heat Midget Girls attended a year end AA tournament in Saskatoon March 28-30. They played 6 games and finished with a record of 3 wins, 2 ties, and one loss. One of the wins was over the Saskatchewan AA champion Saskatoon Comets by a score of 1-0. Great job ladies.
