The annual Irma School Awards Night took place in Irma on Friday, Oct. 17 and saw Tierney Sinclair win ATA Award, Premier Citizenship Award, Governor General Award, D and S Science Scholarship, Sciences Award, Excellence in Biology 30 and Chemistry 30, Aletha Glasgow Dedicated Musician Award and the Rutherford Scholarship.
The Jim Lingley Memorial Award is given to a student in the dash two subjects that has worked hard and shown great perseverance.
It was won by Becky Pierce. This award has been dedicated in memory of Jim Lingley, a caring, compassionate member of the Irma community who supported the Irma School in numerous ways. The award was donated by the Lingley family.
