Funds help family
Viking School’s Grade 6 class raised over $1000 for the Markkula family, including classmate William, who recently lost their home in a fire.
The fundraising included a garage sale, bake sale, staff lunch, hot chocolate sale, and even a Pie the Grade 6s.
The money raised by the class went towards helping the family establish a new home and acquire all the necessities.
