On Sept. 12, police received a complaint of a break and enter to a Quonset at a rural location south of Viking.

The complainant advised someone had cut the padlock on the building, entered it and stole a dirt bike that had been stored inside. Police have no suspects at this time.

On Sept. 13, police received information that a male subject with a Canada wide warrant was residing in Viking.

Viking and Irma United Churches welcomed a new Reverend recently. Reverend Scott Reynolds, originally from Edmonton, will be leading both congregations.

Reynolds received a degree from Taylor University College and Seminary in Edmonton before moving out to B.C.
