New Community Programmer for Viking FCSS

Kaitlin Romaniuk started her duties as the new Community Programmer for Viking/Beaver Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) on Feb. 19.

She took over from the departing programmer Trudy Arnett. Romaniuk graduated last April from the University of Alberta,  Augustana Campus with a four years Bachelor’s degree in Management in Business Economics, with a minor in Crime and Community.

After graduating, she worked as a District Clerk at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park until last November. Her duties at FCSS are part-time, four days a week, and include programming events in the community and producing the FCSS newsletter. She says she looks forward to getting to know the people and community she for whom she will be working.
