Death of young female brings on Major Crimes Unit to Viking

On Sunday, March 30 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Viking RCMP officers were dispatched to the rear alley of a Viking residence to what appeared to be a deceased female found lying in the snow and not wearing winter clothing. 

    It was soon determined that the young female was deceased. It was also determined that she had attended a reception in the vicinity not far from where she was found.

     Edmonton RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating this sudden death and an autopsy date and time has yet to be confirmed.
