   Darren, Zoe, Jamie, Timothy and Erik Anderson have returned to Viking from the Republic of Congo in central Africa, where they worked as volunteers in the capital city Brazzaville from July 24 to August 12.

    According to Darren, pastor of the Viking Alliance Church, the family was there at the invitation of the Alliance Churches of Congo.

For Darren and his wife Zoe, a teacher at Viking School, this was the second opportunity to be there but a first for their three children.

    He said, “We have a friend who has worked as a missionary nurse in Congo for almost 40 years. Through her the Alliance Church in Viking formed a partnership with two Alliance Churches in Brazzaville.
