20th annual Kinsella Bullarama full of big impact
The 2018 Graveldome Bullarama drew a packed crowd of people coming out to watch 30 top bull riders square off with 30 top Canadian bulls to attempt eight seconds of glory.
The Professional Bull Rider (PBR) Canada-sanctioned event took place at Kinsella the evening of Wednesday, July 11, and is presented courtesy of the Kinsella Rec & Ag Society.
This is the 20th year for the bullarama at Kinsella, and the event has grown into a massively popular event. A concession and beer gardens ensured everyone had food and refreshments during the action in the arena.
But before the bull riding began, a tribute was made to one of the Bullarama’s founding members Joe Makar, who passed away on July 3. After being remembered as a long time supporter of the Kinsella Bullarama and of the community, everyone stood for a minute of silence in his honour.
