Former Viking School graduate earns PhD in Sociology

Former graduate of Viking School Robin Willey has recently earned his PhD in Sociology from the University of Alberta (UofA).

The journey to a Doctorate has been an interesting one for Willey, who wil be starting a position as an assistant professor at Concordia University in Edmonton in July 2018.

Willey moved to Viking in the fourth grade and graduated from Viking School in 2002, which he says was a “time before Facebook and when Beyoncé was still a member of Destiny’s Child.”
