Town of Viking seeks partner to make spray park plans a reality
In an effort to replace Viking’s aging Eastview Park playground, the Town Council is considering pitches for the project, which include adding a splash park.
However, without a community partner, making the splash park plans a reality could prove very difficult.
The most popular pitch as of yet is the previously reported on plan from Shelley Robinson, which included a viking-themed playground and splash park.
The splash park is to be characterized by viking-style shields and ribstones, and the playground would be modeled as a viking ship.
