Word on the Street: Senior caught in credit card scam
On March 27, a senior contacted police to report he might have been the victim of a scam.
He advised he had made two payments on his credit card to a company in Switzerland and had now received a letter requesting more funds.
Family members were assisting him with this matter and he had since cancelled his credit card. Police provided him with some reading material regarding different types of scams and frauds.

On March 28, police received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence in Kinsella.
