Lions Farm completes harvest, thanks to help of Community

The Lions Farm wrapped up their first year of farming.

This would have never happened without exceptional support from some of our local business’s and community members. The support and efforts of everyone involved has provided funds that will be distributed throughout our community.

A summary of the support that was provided by businesses and community members is as follows:
Vern Erickson offered to allow the Lions Club to utilize land that he rents from Andrew Twerdochlib.

The fuel for activities on the farm were supplied by Wild Rose Co-op, Killam.

The pre-burn spraying was done by Rod Mattinson with spray supplied by Wild Rose Co-op, Viking. Dagan Maxwell with Best Farming Systems donated Soil Rejuvenation.
