Viking School 2014/15 school year Achievement Awards

Friday Oct. 21 was Viking School’s annual Awards night, in which Grade 12 students from the 2014/15 school year were presented with awards honouring their academic achievement.

The winner of the night’s top award, the Governor General’s medal, presented to the student with the highest average for combined Grade 11 and 12 was Megan Russnak.

Russnak was the winner of the most awards that night, taking home a total of 13 which are listed later in the article. Unfortunately, Russnak was unable to attend the awards ceremony due to University midterms.

The night started with the presentation of awards for Highest Academic and Citizenship to 2014/15 Grade 10 and 11 students. Grade 10 Highest Academic went to Hailey Lancaster and Citizenship to Christian Ramos.
