Grand opening of Viking heliport honours namesake
The Grand Opening of Viking’s new heliport took place Oct. 20.
The event was held not only to officially open the pad, but also to give tribute to George Roddick, who was instrumental in getting the project started. So instrumental, in fact, that the heliport was officially named the Viking Health Centre George H. Roddick Heliport.
