Gas Kings home opener draws large crowd
The Viking Gas Kings senior men’s hockey team played their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 15.
Though the team was defeated by Two Hills by a score of 9 to 3, the team saw a large number of fans come out to cheer them on.
The crowd, made up of people of all ages, filled up the bleachers on one side of the Carena. They managed to drink all the hot chocolate the concession had in store.
The Gas Kings appeared to enjoy themselves out on the ice, despite the loss.
