Troll Park loved by visitors from across Canada this summer

Viking’s Troll Park was a hit with tourists passing through the Viking area this summer.

For the first time a comments box was placed in the park for visitors to leave messages, one of the park’s caretakers Ron Erickson said.

Erickson and fellow caretaker Tim Liedl emptied the box as they were getting the park ready for winter. And while the focus of the day was on pruning perennials and pulling out annuals, it was the comments about the park that were the most interesting.

Visitors came from all over Canada, from Comox, B.C. to Thunder Bay, Ontario, and left glowing reviews. They commented often on the beauty of the park, often echoing this visitor from Calgary who wrote: … FOR MORE SEE THE SEPT 27/16 WEEKLY REVIEW
