Viking Historical Society to restore well-known milk wagon
In 2017 the Viking Historical Society will be celebrating their 50th year of operation.
To commemorate this occasion, society members have decided to restore Viking Creamery’s horse-drawn milk wagon.
The Historical Society says that the wagon is believed to be the last operating milk wagon in western Canada.
The wagon was driven by a man named Wellington Hume Haire, better known as Bill Haire, of Viking.
