Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report stolen vehicle abandoned in Viking
On July 12, police received a complaint of a vehicle speeding around the town of Viking.
Police were able to determine the registered owner of the vehicle and he was later located and warned about his driving habits.

On July 14, police received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle left in a parking lot at a local hotel.
When police ran checks on the vehicle, it was discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen in Edmonton a few days earlier.
The vehicle was seized and towed by police.
Edmonton Police Service was contacted and they will be following up on possible evidence left behind in the vehicle.

On July 15, police received a complaint of an erratic driver eastbound on Highway 26.
The complainant advised the vehicle was swerving all over the road and had just hit the ditch but was pulling back onto the highway.
