Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report collision west of Viking

  On July 18, police responded to a two vehicle collision west of Viking on Township Road 480.

Investigation determined the driver of an eastbound vehicle was attempting to pull to the shoulder as it approached a westbound vehicle when she lost control in the loose gravel, causing her vehicle to fishtail into the path of the oncoming vehicle.

The vehicles collided head on but fortunately, both drivers only sustained minor injuries and their passengers were properly secured in child safety seats and were not injured.

    That night, police were alerted by members of COPS, of a damaged vehicle parked in Bruce.
