Nolan Andreson just returned from a 10-day sailing trip on the west coast of BC.
His mom, Dana Andreson, says that she had seen posters for the Sail and Life Training Society, or SALTS, anytime she was at The Stollery, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; when she took the time to look into it a little further, she told Nolan, “This sounds pretty cool, you should apply.”
Nolan says he didn’t have a lot of boat experience, other than his brief period in Sea Cadets, but that he likes watersports in general.
“I had not been to Vancouver Island, and I was really looking forward to the sight-seeing aspect of the trip,”… for more see the July 12/16 Weekly Review.
