Viking Shamrocks play exhibition games with Holden Blue Jays

The Viking Shamrocks played their first exhibition games of the year on May 2 in a doubleheader against the Holden Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays won the first game 7-1 and the Shamrocks took the second 11-1.

The Viking Shamrocks will play their first home league game on May 11 at 7 p.m.

This will be the first time a men’s baseball team has played in a league in Viking since 1990. Viking and Holden will not be facing off again during the season as Viking plays in the Battle River Baseball league, and Holden is part of the Powerline league.
