Viking School surpasses fundraising goals
Students and staff at Viking School have come up with some creative and exciting ways to fundraise for Fort McMurray relief efforts.
In high school, throughout the school week of May 15 to 20 students were given the opportunity to put forth a donation in order to select a number from a wall of sticky notes. Each number was associated with either a prize win, or a thank you for the donation.
Lower numbers required a lower donation, but the chances of winning were lower, and the prizes themselves smaller (such as freezies).
