Town of Viking acting CAO now former Lamont County CAO Al Harvey

Viking Town Council accepted the resignation of Jackie Fenton from the office of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) with the Town of Viking at a special meeting last night in Viking.

During the same meeting the current Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) with Beaver Emergency Services Commission (BESC) Allan Harvey was invited to step into the role of Acting CAO for the town.

Viking town council is seeking the assistance of an interim CAO following last week’s termination of Jackie Fenton from the position of CAO for the Town of Viking.

CAO Harvey attended the meeting and told council that while he needed to know more about the position, he felt he was able to devote two full days a week as the Town’s Acting CAO.
