Word on the Street: Viking RCMP Report

On January 4 police received a complaint of an attempted phone scam.

The caller advised an unknown male had left a message on his answering machine claiming to be with Revenue Canada and requested a return call regarding an outstanding lawsuit.

The complainant did not return his call so did not become a victim of fraud.
