ATCO GAS DONATES TO TOWN OF VIKING

There were smiles all around as youngsters enjoyed free skating and a hot dog barbecue at the Carena Complex on Friday afternoon. The event was sponsored by ATCO Gas. The afternoon was capped off by a presentation of $5,000 by ATCO to the Town of Viking to help pay for the purchase of a new Zamboni for the Carena. On hand for the presentation were from left, Bruce Legault, manager of ATCO Gas South Edmonton and East Yellowhead Region, Arnold Hanson, Beaver County Division 5, Lindsay Quinton, ATCO Gas Administrative Coordinator – Viking District, ATCO Gas mascot Digger, Jay Veres, ATCO Gas Customer Service Foreman – Viking, Viking Councillor Rod Hunter, Viking Mayor David Zayonce and Viking’s Chief Administrative Officer Jackie Fenton.
