Word On The Street: Viking RCMP report
On Oct. 19 police received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 36. Police made patrols but were unable to locate the vehicle in question.
That afternoon, police received a complaint of a theft that had occurred in Bruce sometime over the past two weeks. Police are continuing to follow up on this matter.

On Oct. 22 police responded to a two-vehicle collision just east of Viking on secondary 619. Investigation revealed an eastbound automobile was attempting to make a left hand turn when it was struck from behind by an eastbound truck.
Fortunately, there were no injuries however the vehicles sustained major damage. The driver of the truck was issued a violation ticket for Sec. 115.4(1) under the Traffic Safety Act.
