Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

   During the early morning hours on Oct. 12 police responded to an intrusion alarm at a business in Kinsella. When police arrived on scene, they found the front door glass had been smashed and culprits had entered the business and stole property.  Police are continuing their investigation into this crime.

    That afternoon, police received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 14. A patrol was made and the vehicle in question was located and stopped.

The driver advised there was a problem with the load shifting on the trailer causing the vehicle to be pulled to the right. The complainant was advised and did not wish to provide a statement regarding the incident.

    On Oct. 13 police were advised of a possible fraud that had occurred involving property that was purchased from an individual who had placed an ad on Kijiji.  The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
