Courtney Larson wins 8 at Viking School Awards Night

    On Friday, Oct. 23 Viking School held its annual awards night in which students were presented with a variety of awards for their academic achievements.

    The Governor General Academic Medal, which goes to the student with the highest academic average for Grades 11 and 12 combined, was awarded to Courtney Larson. Courtney was also the top winner receiving eight awards.

    The evening started with the Grade 10 and 11 Student Union Awards. Leah Wilkins received the highest academic achievement for a Grade 10 student and Peyton Erickson was awarded the Grade 10 Citizenship award.

    Megan Russnak was awarded the highest academic achievement for a Grade 11 student and Janae Roeleveld accepted the Grade 11 Citizenship award.
