Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report (false alarms in Kinsella)

   On Tuesday, April 7, police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver leaving Kinsella, eastbound on Highway 14. Wainwright RCMP was also advised and located the vehicle in question just west of Wainwright.

    A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be sober so was allowed to carry on his way.

    That afternoon, police were advised of a break and enter that had occurred over the previous weekend in Kinsella.  Nothing appeared to be stolen however some damage had been incurred.  This matter is still under investigation.

    Later that same day, police received information regarding a possible sexual assault on a minor.  The investigation into this matter is ongoing.

    That night, police received a complaint regarding an ongoing domestic situation. Police are continuing to follow up on this matter.
