OTTAWA TRIP “ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE”
After a week in Ottawa taking part in Encounters Canada, Amber Voltner, 16, has returned home with fond memories, new friends from all over our country, and with new knowledge and experiences.
The Encounters Canada describes its event as “a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Canadian teens to meet young people from across the country,” as they, “Take part in exciting adventures, explore future career options, learn more about [our] country, and share [their] hopes and dreams all through exclusive hands-on workshops, presentations and excursions.”
Voltner agrees that it was a once in a life time experience, having thoroughly enjoyed her stay from Feb. 15-21 as she took part in the Encounters Canada Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) week.
