IRMA PEEWEE GIRLS CHAMPIONS

   The Irma Peewee Girls went into triple overtime to get past Wainwright and were awarded the Zone 7 Championship banner. This secured them a spot a the Provincial Tournament held in Warburg, AB on March 19 to 22.

    The Aces first game with Fort Saskatchewan ended in a 1-1 tie and the Aces went undefeated for the rest of their round robin dominating their games with Jasper, Edmonton and Warburg. The wins placed them first in their pool.

    On Sunday morning it was Irma vs Okotoks in the semi final game. The Aces came out on top with an exciting 2-1 win.  Fort Saskatchewan beat out Red Deer for a spot in the gold medal game.
