EMERGENCY SERVICES OFFICE STAYS IN VIKING DESPITE TERMINATIONS

   The head office of the Beaver Emergency Services Commission (BESC) will remain in Viking despite the recent termination of the Regional Fire Chief and the Assistant Fire Chief. (See today’s Beaver County Chronicle).

    Commission headquarters are located in the lower level of the Viking town office.

    According to BESC chairperson Arnold Hanson, the Commission made the decision to terminate both positions following a Monday, Feb. 9 night meeting.

    Cindy Conroy Regional Fire Chief and Director of Emergency Management and Derian Rosario Regional Deputy Fire Chief and Deputy Director of Emergency Management were advised of the Commission’s decision and terminated, effective immediately, Tuesday morning.
