Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

Later that morning, police worked with Children Services to mediate a family situation involving a youth and her parent. Children Services is continuing to follow up with the family.

Also that day, police received a request to check on an individual as the complainant had concerns for his well-being.

The subject was located and spoken to and he confirmed he was fine.

    During the early morning hours on Jan. 20, police responded to a complaint of threats being uttered. 

    When police arrived on scene, they spoke with all involved parties and it was determined no threats were actually uttered and the matter was resolved without charges.
