DR. STARKE WILL SEEK SECOND TERM
Dr. Richard Starke, MLA for Vermilion-Lloydminster, will seek a second term in office.
Last week Dr. Starke told the Weekly Review he would be letting his name stand to be nominated as the candidate for the Progressive Conservative Party in the next provincial election.
Dr. Starke was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Vermilion-Lloydminster on April 23, 2012.
Candidates in all 87 seats will have to state their intentions, allowing sufficient time for each constituency committee to arrange a ballot if needed. Even in those constituencies with sitting members of government, such as Vermilion-Lloydminster, nominations must take place.
