  On Dec. 1, police responded to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highways 14 and 36.

    The weather was great and the hockey was even better, making for a fun weekend for everyone involved in the celebration of Minor Hockey.

   Although winter will not officially arrive until Sunday, Dec. 21, howling winds and endless falling snow followed by bone-chilling temperatures last week, made it very clear that winter is now.

Doris Davies said she was pleased and honoured to recently receive a medal and certificate signed by Leon Benoit, MP — Vegreville – Wainwright on behalf of the Canadian government thanking her for her military service.

    On November 24th, police received a complaint of harassing phone calls.  The investigation into this matter is continuing.

    That same morning, police were advised of a possible impaired driver who was currently parked at a local gas station.
