Rec Coordinator position filled

The position of Recreation and Culture Coordinator for the Town of Viking has been filled.

    Amber Hennig, who lives just north of Viking, has been chosen to fill the position. She will join the town staff in the new year.

    Viking Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Jackie Fenton told council at its regular meeting Monday, Dec. 15 that interviews took place in November and there were several “excellent applicants.”

    She said the applicants showed a wide range of knowledge and experience which made selecting a candidate a difficult task.
