BRUCE PEROGY SUPPER attracts 360 people
The Bruce Ag Society held its annual Perogie Supper Saturday, Nov. 1, and once again fed and entertained a packed house.
Organizers say that about 360 people were served a menu of perogies with onions and sour cream, ham, gravy, kielbasa, coleslaw, vegetables, buns, dessert squares, fruit, coffee and tea.
Dancers from Niko’s Dance Team, Ryley, wowed the audience.
About a week prior to the dinner, community members get together at the Bruce Community Centre and work as a team to prepare the hundreds of homemade perogies and side dishes needed for the supper.
