Bruce Stampede gets sun for Sunday’s events
Though wet conditions resulted in the cancellation of Saturday’s pony chuckwagon and chariot races, rain and mud could not deter the 101st Bruce Stampede altogether. Local contestants were not afraid to get a little dirty and faced the mud with excitement as they participated in the entertaining amateur rodeo events. On Sunday the sun broke through the clouds in time to shine for the parade and hundreds enjoyed the warm weather as they took in the breathtaking RCMP musical ride and the action packed rodeo.
