Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report
On April 29, police attended the scene of a single vehicle collision on Range Road 154 west of Viking.
The driver advised he had lost control of his vehicle, entered the ditch and struck a tree.
The road was in extremely poor condition with deep ruts and holes due to the wet weather and numerous heavy trucks and construction equipment in the area.
Fortunately, no injuries were incurred.

On May 1, police were advised of a custody issue regarding a child who had not been returned home as previously arranged.
Police spoke with all parties involved and it was determined there was no custody order in place so police were unable to enforce the return of the child… For more see the May 6/14 issue of the Weekly Review
