Consolation badminton winner at BC event from Viking

Jasleen Kaur, of Viking, was named Consolation winner of the Under-14 Singles category at Badminton Nationals which were held in Richmond, B.C. from April 27 to May 5.

    Kaur, only 12 years old, was playing

under-age in the U14 category against players that were one or two years older than her.

    She has been playing badminton since she was eight years old and practices multiple times a week.
All of this training has certainly paid off, culminating in the accomplishment of being named Consolation Champion and third overall in the country.
